The U.S. Census Bureau has updated its OnTheMap tool and the Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics (LEHD) Origin-Destination Employment Statistics (LODES) with new data. The update includes employment information for 2023, as well as previously missing data for Mississippi from 2019 to 2022. The tool’s geography has also been revised to match the 2024 TIGER/Line vintage.

OnTheMap is an online mapping application that displays where people live and work. It was created through a partnership between the Census Bureau and Local Employment Dynamics partner states.
