Duke Energy announced on Apr. 14 that it will conduct its annual shareholders meeting online on Thursday, May 7, at 1 p.m. Eastern Time.
The virtual format allows shareholders to participate in the meeting remotely, ensuring broader access and engagement with company leadership. This approach enables stakeholders to stay informed about Duke Energy’s performance and strategic direction without needing to attend in person.
Harry Sideris, President and Chief Executive Officer of Duke Energy, will provide an overview of the company’s performance for 2025 and discuss progress made in energy modernization efforts aimed at meeting growing demand and delivering value for stakeholders. Shareholders will have the opportunity to vote on company proposals and submit questions during the event. The company said that questions submitted by participants will be addressed either during the live session or afterward through a web posting.
Details about how shareholders can access the online meeting or join by phone are available in Duke Energy’s proxy statement. The company recommends using Google Chrome as the preferred browser for accessing the event online.
Duke Energy is one of America’s largest energy holding companies, serving electric utility customers across six states and natural gas customers in four states from its headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. The company continues to invest in electric grid upgrades and efficient generation resources as part of its energy modernization strategy.
