Florida Board of Governors to discuss leadership appointments and regulation changes

The Florida Board of Governors is set to hold a virtual meeting on Friday, December 12, 2025. The agenda for the meeting includes several key items.

During the full board session, members will consider confirming the President-Elect of the University of South Florida. The board will also review and possibly approve public notices related to amendments of Board of Governors Regulations 8.011, 9.007, and 10.015.

The Nomination and Governance Committee has scheduled discussions regarding the appointment of university trustees. Additionally, they will consider approving a public notice signaling intent to amend Board of Governors Regulations 1.001 and 1.002.

The meeting is planned to take place virtually via Zoom and will begin at 8:30 a.m.
