Destiny Neves has been appointed as the new Regional Director for Volusia County by the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association (FRLA). The announcement was made by FRLA, highlighting Neves’ extensive experience in the hospitality sector, including roles in sales, client relations, and event coordination.

Neves previously worked as Sales Manager at Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort. During her time there, she surpassed multimillion-dollar revenue goals and established partnerships across various sectors such as government, education, social organizations, and corporate markets. She also held positions at other notable Daytona Beach properties like The Plaza Resort and Spa, Perry’s Ocean Edge Resort, and the Daytona Beach Resort & Conference Center.

Her involvement with the Lodging & Hospitality Association of Volusia County included supporting its Board of Directors and assisting with major member events.

Carol Dover, President & CEO of FRLA, commented on Neves’ appointment: “Destiny’s track record of leadership, relationship building, and results in Volusia County makes her an outstanding addition to our team. Her insight into the needs of hoteliers, restaurateurs, and hospitality suppliers will be a tremendous benefit to our members and the local hospitality industry.”

In her new capacity at FRLA, Neves will advocate for association members in Volusia County. She is expected to help advance projects that support growth within the industry workforce and promote overall sector strength.

The Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association represents more than 10,000 members from independent businesses to large franchises throughout Florida. Founded in 1946 as the Florida Restaurant Association before merging with the Florida Hotel and Motel Association in 2006, FRLA supports nearly two million employees statewide. Its services include legislative advocacy for its members’ interests along with compliance training programs through Safe Staff and RCS Training subsidiaries. Additionally, FRLA’s Educational Foundation provides high school career-building programs across Florida.
