FSU Panama City to host Jason Hedden for entrepreneurship Lunch & Learn event

Jason Hedden, founder of Panama City Comedy and executive director of Recruitment & Community Relations at Gulf Coast State College, will join Florida State University Panama City professor Brian Baber for a Lunch & Learn event on January 14, 2026. The session is scheduled from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Holley Academic Center’s St. Joe Community Foundation Lecture Hall at 4750 Collegiate Drive, Panama City. The event is free and open to the public, with a light lunch provided.

Hedden launched Panama City Comedy in 2019 and holds a Master of Fine Arts from Ohio State University. He began his college education at Gulf Coast State College, earning an associate’s degree in Theatre. Panama City Comedy organizes more than 50 shows annually across venues in the Southeast region. Hedden often opens for Henry Cho and has produced shows featuring Rory Scovel, Dusty Slay, Tim Meadows, and Kevin Nealon.

Brian Baber serves as Entrepreneur in Residence at FSU PC’s Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship and specializes in real estate and construction.

“There is no cost for admission, and a light lunch will be provided. The public is invited,” the announcement stated.
