Members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) Executive Council and delegates met in Savannah, Georgia, to discuss key political issues, the ongoing government shutdown, and strategies to encourage union members to vote in the upcoming 2026 midterm elections. Later in the week, IAM International President Bryant delivered a keynote address at the Georgia State AFL-CIO convention. The speech emphasized the role of union members in shaping political outcomes in Georgia.
