The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship at Florida State University is introducing a Small Business Executive Program in Panama City, set to begin in spring 2026. The institute has provided executive education to small business owners and nonprofit leaders throughout Tallahassee and Florida for over twenty years. This new program aims to extend its services to the Northwest Florida region.
The Small Business Executive Program (SBEP) will be available at no cost and is intended for CEOs and presidents of small businesses who want to improve their strategic planning, boost performance, and create long-term growth strategies. Participants will have access to tools that help with decision-making, guidance on enhancing business operations, an individualized growth plan, and a network of peers, mentors, and alumni from JMI.
Key dates for the inaugural Panama City SBEP Class I include an application deadline of March 11, 2026, notification of acceptance by March 18, 2026, and five program sessions scheduled from April 1 through April 29, 2026. More details about the curriculum and application process are available on the SBEP Panama City website.
According to the press release: “As JMI continues to expand its reach across Northwest Florida, the launch of the SBEP in Panama City marks a significant milestone, bringing world-class, no-cost entrepreneurial education to a new region while building on decades of service to business owners across the state.”
