Marcus & Millichap hires Max Beyderman; Brown Harris Stevens adds agents in Miami

Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation has appointed Max Beyderman as senior managing director in its Fort Lauderdale office. According to a press release, Beyderman will be responsible for commercial debt and equity financing across various asset classes. His recent experience includes working independently as a commercial finance specialist for the past year, and he previously served as managing director at Meridian Capital Group from 2006 to 2024.

In other hiring news, Thomas Burkett has joined Miami-based Origin Construction as chief financial officer. According to his LinkedIn profile, Burkett was most recently CFO at Butters Group for five months and held the position of senior vice president of finance at Hernandez Construction & Development for nearly four years.

Brown Harris Stevens announced new additions to its Miami-Dade County team. Agents Anamaria Ferrao, Maayan Alishayev, and Maria Pellegrini are joining the Miami Beach office, while Mariona Bosca, Natalie Scherr, and Noelia Espinales will work out of the South Miami office. The firm also brought on David Deza as managing director in May; since then, he has led recruitment efforts for Brown Harris Stevens’ Miami offices.
