Marc Ashley, president of Market America Worldwide and Shop.com, has purchased a condo at the Bath Club Residences in Miami Beach for $14.3 million. The 6,300-square-foot unit is located at 5959 Collins Avenue and was sold by Scott and Laura Gilbert. The Gilberts originally bought the property in 2011 for $5.7 million.

The Bath Club condo features four bedrooms and was listed with Bespoke Real Estate. The building, redeveloped by the Peebles Corporation between 2005 and 2006, includes 107 condominium units and six oceanfront villas. The original beach club dates back to 1926 and has been restored.

Jordan Karp represented Marc Ashley and his wife Maria in the purchase of their new residence. He is also handling the listing of their previous home in Edgewater. Last month, the Ashleys put their full-floor condo at Elysee Miami on the market for $5.5 million, according to a report from the New York Post.

Their Edgewater condo spans 3,300 square feet with four bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms. It is priced at $1,700 per square foot after being purchased for $2.7 million in 2021 while still under construction by Two Roads Development. The building’s interiors were designed by Jean-Louis Deniot, who has worked on projects such as Waldorf Astoria Residences in New York City. Features include a private elevator, 10-foot ceilings, and two terraces overlooking Biscayne Bay and Miami Beach.

Market America was established in 1992 as an e-commerce and product brokerage platform. Its founder James Ridinger passed away in 2022 after he had acquired a penthouse at One Thousand Museum condo tower in Miami with his wife Loren Ridinger.
