Palm Beach County experienced an increase in both the number and value of condominium sales during the week of August 18 to August 24. According to data from Redfin, brokers completed 74 condo transactions totaling $42.8 million, compared to 64 sales worth $31.4 million in the previous week.

The average sale price for a condo rose to $578,767 from the prior week’s $491,305. However, the average price per square foot declined slightly to $316 from $328.

The top ten sales ranged in price from $1 million up to nearly $7.7 million. The highest sale was unit 205 at Presidential Place, located at 800 South Ocean Boulevard in Boca Raton. This property sold for $7.7 million, or $1,617 per square foot, after spending 240 days on the market. Senada Adzem with Douglas Elliman represented the seller while Todd Lipsich with Luxury Partners Realty worked with the buyer.

The second-highest transaction involved unit E1 at 330 Ocean (330 South Ocean Boulevard) in Palm Beach, which closed at $3.5 million or $1,762 per square foot after being listed for 266 days. Patricia Mahaney with Sotheby’s International Realty handled the listing and Maria Fanjul-Ryan with Tina Fanjul Associates represented the buyer.

Other notable sales included a unit at Jupiter Country Club that closed for $1.15 million and a unit at 111 First Delray Condo that sold for just over $1 million.

These figures reflect continued activity and demand within Palm Beach County’s condo market.
