Panama City announces holiday office closures for Christmas and New Year’s

The City of Panama City has announced changes to its office hours for the upcoming Christmas and New Year’s holidays. City offices will close early at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, and remain closed through Friday, December 26. Regular business operations will resume on Monday, December 29, at 8:00 a.m.

For New Year’s, city offices will again close at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31, and stay closed through Friday, January 2. Normal hours will begin again on Monday, January 5, at 8:00 a.m.

In a statement from the city: “The City wishes everyone a safe and joyful holiday season and appreciates your understanding as staff observe these special days.”
