Panama City Beach is emerging as a destination for craft beer enthusiasts, adding to its reputation beyond beaches and Gulf waters. The city now features a range of venues catering to those interested in unique and local brews.

The Craft Bar stands out with 30 taps offering various craft beers. Visitors can also purchase crowlers—32-ounce cans filled on-site—to take home. The bar is part of the Wine World group, known for carrying a wide selection of both domestic and imported beers, including rare varieties. Events such as food and beer pairings and themed nights are regularly hosted at The Craft Bar. One example includes Movie Monday, where guests can watch films like Jaws while enjoying specific brews such as Lost Coast Sharkinator White IPA.

Another notable venue is Ford’s Garage, located centrally in Panama City Beach. This restaurant features over 40 craft beers on tap in a garage-themed setting complete with vintage gas pump décor. The menu offers classic comfort foods alongside local microbrews and well-known national brands. Happy hour specials are available for patrons looking to try different drinks in a lively atmosphere.

The combination of expanding beer selections and the city’s relaxed environment has made exploring Panama City Beach’s craft beer offerings an attractive activity for both visitors and residents. Options range from sampling flights at local bars to picking up growlers for later enjoyment, reflecting the integration of craft beer culture into the coastal lifestyle.
