The Panama City Christmas Parade has been rescheduled to Sunday, December 7th at 5 p.m. due to expected bad weather on Saturday, December 6th. The parade will follow its original route along Harrison Avenue, starting from the Marina at Government Street and ending at Bay High School on E 12th Street.

Several road closures and parking restrictions will be in place for the event. Harrison Avenue from Government Street to E 12th Street will be closed between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. on December 7th. The boat ramp at the Downtown Marina will close at midnight on December 7th and remain closed all day to accommodate parade staging activities. In addition, the entire Marina parking lot, formerly known as the Civic Center lot, will not be accessible to vehicles throughout December 7th.

Organizers encouraged community members to attend the event, stating: “We look forward to seeing everyone line the streets and join us for a safe, cheerful and festively fun celebration through the heart of Panama City!”
