More than 25,000 people attended the Sing Out Loud Festival’s Live Wildly Showcase in St. Augustine, Florida, on September 20 and 21. The two-day event at Francis Field featured performances from 14 acts, including Hozier, Beabadoobee, Vance Joy, and The Teskey Brothers. Attendees came from all U.S. states, territories such as Puerto Rico and Guam, as well as 12 other countries.

The festival aimed to combine live music with conservation efforts. Through ticket sales, more than $130,000 was raised for land conservation initiatives in St. Johns County. In addition to concerts, attendees participated in activities focused on Florida’s natural environment. These included interactive trivia about state parks and wildlife, a tent inspired by local springs for relaxation, and engagement with local conservation organizations.

“This festival isn’t just about music – it’s about community, connection, and protecting what makes Florida so unique,” said Gabe Pellicer, CEO & President of SJC Cultural Events, Inc., which produces the festival. “Bringing thousands of people together for live music and conservation delivers real impact and we’re incredibly proud of what this festival has achieved.”

Lisa Shipley, CEO of the Live Wildly Foundation added: “It’s truly inspiring to witness such a strong show of support for wild Florida, especially right here in St. Johns County, where these efforts will directly benefit local conservation. We’re honored to collaborate on a festival that brings people together through music while also deepening our collective dedication to protecting wild Florida for future generations.”

Festival organizers noted that demand was high for the full weekend experience; three times more two-day passes were sold compared to single-day tickets.

The event is produced by SJC Cultural Events Inc., which also operates several other venues in the area such as the St. Augustine Amphitheatre and Ponte Vedra Concert Hall.

Sing Out Loud Festival has been held annually since 2016 in historic St. Augustine and features a mix of national and local artists along with specialty programming throughout its run.
